2026 BRASS Update

Our January 20/26 General meeting included an engaging, research-based presentation by Dr. Melanie Massey from University of Toronto Mandrak Lab who presented on "The Goldfish Invasion."  She shared different aspects of Goldfish history and spread throughout the globe, and modern harmful effects of invasive Goldfish on waterways and fish life particularly in North America.   A mini auction involving friendly banter, as well as a 50/50 draw, were also held, and the Club welcomed new guests.*February 17/26 is the date of our next General meeting.  Brian Flowers will complete a Presentation on "Water Chemistry 101" focussing on how maintaining water chemistry is crucial for healthy freshwater and planted aquariums.   Mini Auction and 50/50 draw will occur as well.  See our Facebook Page for more details."
