Jim says: The presentation was inspired by my decades long association with this popular group of fishes. They are basically low in aggression, elegant in their form, incredibly beautiful in appearance and very socially interactive. The fact that I presently have half my fish room devoted to them says a lot. It is such a vast group of fishes that it is impossible to discuss them all. And I would be doing a huge disservice by spreading the story so thin. But my long term experience with them and the fact that I have been video documenting, photographing and writing about them for decades gives me an advantage that few hobbyist have had. An in-depth survey of ‘some’, gives you a window into the ‘whole’. So, in a word, it is a survey, or as I like to refer to it, a ‘food for thought’ presentation. Be prepared to have your appetite whetted.
