Recognition award rules
1)
All
applicants must be a member of a club or society that is a
member in good standing of CAOAC at the time of the annual
Awards Committee meeting in March. If a non-member individual is
being considered, this name must be approved and/or submitted by
the CAOAC Executive prior to the Awards Committee meeting.
2) The
application must be submitted on the form “Recognition Award
Nomination Form” which is on Page 1181 of the CAOAC Information
Binder. This form must be completed and must be signed by an
Executive of the applicant’s local club or society. If a
computer-generated application is being submitted, it must
include the information requested on Page 1181. If these
criteria are not adhered to, the application will not be
considered by the Awards Committee.
3) No
application will be accepted if signed by the applicant.
4) In
rare circumstances the CAOAC Scientist Award will be presented
to a non-member of CAOAC.
5) The
Author Award or Advanced Author Award must be submitted by the
December CAOAC meeting.
6) All
other CAOAC Recognition Awards must be submitted by the February
CAOAC meeting.
7)
Applications received after the deadline will only be processed
if time permits.
