CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS AWARD (REVOLVING AWARD)
HISTORY: The original trophy was donated in 1970 by Roy Edwards, of Strathroy, Ontario. This trophy was retired and replaced with a plaque.

REQUIREMENTS: The CAOAC Champion of Champions Award is presented annually to the individual who has obtained the most points at inter-club fish shows during the CAOAC show calendar year.

GENERAL: The CAOAC Champion of Champions Award is presented at the CAOAC Awards Banquet at the Annual CAOAC Convention. This is a revolving award and must be returned to the CAOAC Show Committee three months prior to the following convention. CAOAC provides a keeper award. This award is administered by the CAOAC Open Show Committee.

CHALLENGE AWARD (REVOLVING AWARD)
HISTORY: This Trophy was donated in 1974 by Ted Hilton, Toronto, Ontario. The original trophy has since been replaced by CAOAC with a plaque.

REQUIREMENTS: The CAOAC Challenge Trophy is awarded annually to the club or society whose members have obtained the most points at inter club-fish shows during the CAOAC show calendar year.

GENERAL: The CAOAC Challenge Trophy is presented at the CAOAC awards banquet at the annual CAOAC convention. This is a revolving trophy and must be returned to the CAOAC Show Committee three months prior to the following convention. CAOAC does not provide a keeper trophy but the club or society's name is engraved on a plate attached to the side of the trophy. This award is administered by the CAOAC Show Committee.

BEST LIVEBEARER (REVOLVING AWARD)
HISTORY: This Trophy was donated in 1974 by Preston-Galt Aquarium Society, Preston, Ontario. The original trophy has since been replaced by CAOAC with a plaque.

REQUIREMENTS: The Best Livebearer Trophy is awarded annually to the individual having the best livebearer entry in the CAOAC convention show as determined by the presiding judges.

GENERAL: The Best Livebearer Trophy is presented at the CAOAC awards banquet at the annual CAOAC convention. This is a revolving trophy and must be returned to the CAOAC Show Committee three months prior to the following convention. CAOAC does not provide a keeper trophy. It is normal that the convention host society also has a Best Livebearer Trophy and this can be considered the keeper trophy. This award is administered by the CAOAC Show Committee.


BEST EGGLAYER (REVOLVING AWARD)
HISTORY: This original Trophy was donated in 1972 by the Collingwood Aquarium Society,  Collingwood, Ontario. The original trophy has since been replaced by CAOAC with a plaque.

REQUIREMENTS: The Best Egglayer Trophy is awarded annually to the individual having the best egglayer entry in the CAOAC convention show as determined by the presiding judges.

GENERAL: The Best Egglayer Trophy is presented at the CAOAC awards banquet at the annual CAOAC convention. This is a revolving trophy and must be returned to the CAOAC Show Committee three months prior to the convention following. CAOAC does not provide a keeper trophy. It is normal that the convention host society also has a Best Egglayer Trophy and this can be considered the keeper trophy. This award is administered by the CAOAC Show Committee.

CENTENNIAL AWARD (REVOLVING AWARD)
HISTORY: This Trophy was donated in 1967 by the Peterborough Aquarium Club, Peterborough, Ontario. The original trophy was retired and replaced with a plaque.

REQUIREMENTS: The CAOAC Centennial Award Trophy is awarded annually to the club or society which has obtained the most points in the CAOAC convention show.

GENERAL: The CAOAC Centennial Award Trophy is presented at the CAOAC awards banquet at the annual CAOAC convention. This is a revolving trophy and must be returned to the CAOAC Show Committee three months prior to the following convention. CAOAC does not provide a keeper trophy but the club or society's name is engraved on a plate attached to the side of the trophy. This award is administered by the CAOAC Show Committee.


BEST OF SHOW AWARD (REVOLVING AWARD)
HISTORY: This Trophy was donated in 1968 by Labatt's Breweries limited in co-operation with the Canadian Aquaria Society Incorporated, Toronto, Ontario. The original trophy was retired and replaced by CAOAC with a plaque.

REQUIREMENTS: The Best of Show Trophy is awarded annually to the individual having the best entry in the CAOAC convention show as determined by the presiding judges.

GENERAL: The Best of Show Trophy is presented at the CAOAC awards banquet at the annual CAOAC convention. This is a revolving trophy and must be returned to the CAOAC Show Committee three months prior to the convention following. CAOAC does not provide a keeper trophy. It is normal that the convention host society also has a best of show trophy and this can be considered the keeper trophy. This award is administered by the CAOAC Show Committee

BETTA AWARD (REVOLVING AWARD)
HISTORY: This Trophy was donated in 1979 by the Willowdale Aquarium Society and the Toronto Betta Buffs, Toronto, Ontario. The Original trophy was retired and replaced with a plaque.

REQUIREMENTS: The CAOAC Betta Trophy is awarded annually to the individual who has obtained the most points in Betta classes at inter-club fish shows during the CAOAC calendar year.

GENERAL: The CAOAC Betta Trophy is presented at the CAOAC awards banquet at the annual CAOAC convention. This is a revolving trophy and must be returned to the CAOAC Show Committee three months prior to the following convention. A keeper trophy was very generously donated by Mr. Ed Petrie (now deceased) until 1986; Mr. Frank Buhagiar until 1997. This award is administered by the CAOAC Show Committee.


JUNIOR CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS AWARD (REVOLVING AWARD)
REQUIREMENTS: The CAOAC Junior Champion of Champions Award is awarded annually to the CAOAC member individual (16) years of age or younger, who has obtained the most points from any classes entered in inter-club fish shows during the CAOAC show calendar year.

If the hobbyist turns sixteen (16) during the show year, he or she can finish the year as a junior member. To qualify for this award, the junior Hobbyist must have accumulated a minimum of ten (10) points in the show year. Show Chairpersons will be expected to show juniors on the stat sheets by marking them with the word 'Junior'. The Open Show Committee will be responsible for keeping track of all such marked names.

Visual Design (Appearance of the site) Graphics should be clear and sharp. Graphics should be relevant to the page and strategically located. Backgrounds should not interfere with readability of text. There should be a consistent look and feel to each page. Tables and other items should scale well (how the site looks if the client reduces or increases the size of their browser window) 30

Each of the three criteria above can be awarded the maximum points listed under the score column for a maximum total of 100 points.
